TanglewoodLenox, Massachusetts Beginning at the end of June and culminating around Labor Day, Tanglewood provides entertainment from the most celebrated performers of classical, jazz and popular music. SAVI is very honored to provide audio reinforcement for the entire summer season at the Koussevitzky Shed, Seiji Ozawa Hall and other venues at the Tanglewood Music Center. As the summer home of the Boston Symphony Orchestra and Boston Pops, Tanglewood gathers music enthusiasts from around the world to enjoy the sights and sounds of this cultural gem in the Berkshires. SAVI employs the L'Acoustics V-DOSC loudspeaker system to provide pinpoint audio coverage within the Koussevitzky shed, while relying on the six custom installed EAW clusters to cover the vast lawn seating area. With such a wide variety of performers gracing the stages at Tanglewood, SAVI keeps up with the changes by supplying only best in audio equipment including Midas and Yamaha mixing consoles, Klark Technik EQ and stage monitor systems by L'Acoustics and Meyer Sound Labs. Performers in the year 2003 included The Boston Pops, A Prairie Home Companion (featuring Garrison Keillor), Jethro Tull and The Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra. The Tanglewood Jazz Festival (Labor Day Weekend) is a full 3 days of performances in 3 separate venues around the music center. This past year's performers included Wynton Marsalis, Michel Camilo Trio, Donal Fox, Natalie Cole and Marian Mcpartland (w/special guest Norah Jones).
