ABOUTUSSAVI was established in 1966 as a division of Specialized Audio Inc. based in Saratoga Springs, NY. In 1985 SAVI became a separate corporation and in 1989 we moved to our new facility in Clifton Park, NY. One of our first clients was the Saratoga Performing Arts Center in Saratoga Springs. For the next 28 years we maintained the position of house sound company for the center working with such diverse groups as New York City Ballet, New York City Opera, Philadelphia Orchestra, Newport-Kool Jazz (Festival Productions / George Wein) and countless performing groups throughout the 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's. SAVI also services the theatrical touring business by designing and supplying rental sound systems for an average of eight national touring Broadway musicals each year. SAVI has supplied sound systems for over 100 national tours over the past 20 years. In addition to performing arts and theatrical sound rentals SAVI is active in supplying systems and operators for the corporate meeting business. Some of our long-term clients are CSSI, IBM, Apple and Microsoft. In 1993 SAVI was engaged to provide the sound system for Andrew Lloyd Webber's "Starlight Express" produced at the Las Vegas Hilton. Further projects included an entertainment lounge for the Hilton and several theatres for the Circus Circus Corporation including the Luxor theatre, Excalibur arena, Mandalay Bay Showroom and the Mandalay Bay Events Arena. |
SAVINEWSSAVI Breaks Ground SAVI has started construction of an 11,000 sq. ft., million dollar expansion of
their existing plant, more than doubling their current space. The new expansion
will have 8,750 sq. ft. of high bay warehouse space and 2800 sq ft. of additional
office space. Michael Cusick, SAVI's president, stated "With our new expansion,
we will increase our ability to handle larger projects with greater efficiency.
Properly accommodating increased staff, inventory and service facilities are a
must as we move forward".
OURMISSIONOur philosophy is not to be a big contracting firm but to perform at the quality level at or above the largest national level firms but with one important difference. By being small we offer to our clients a more focused approach to their project. We are not striving for quantity of installation contracts but rather for quality of the final product, total customer satisfaction with the final results and on-going customer support relationships.
