SymphonyHall
Boston, Massachusetts
Renovated: September 2002
The design and installation of a state of the art backstage Paging and Monitor system to meet the demanding specialized needs of the Boston Symphony Orchestra in their home residence hall.
Symphony Hall, Boston, is the pinnacle of American architectural achievement for acoustical design. This 100-year old hall was in sad need to upgrade their backstage performance monitoring and paging facilities.
SAVI designed a installed 24 zone backstage monitor and paging system developed around Media Matrix. Years of planning and drawings went into the preparations to re-wire this 100-year old landmark with a new web of audio and video cabling. Advanced control features and easy upgrade path make this system flexible into the future for the BSO
SAVI is also designing a video camera and video distribution system for Symphony Hall.
