ProctorsTheatre
Schenectady, NY
Renovated: December 2005
Sound system design, fabrication and installation for 2,700 seat Vaudeville style venue. Part of a complete stagehouse renovation to this 1920's era gem.
Proctors Theater, in the heart of downtown Schenectady, underwent a grand renovation in 2005 increasing their stagehouse capacity and upgrading the theatre's production capabilities. Using d&b Audiotechnik Qi series small format line array and the d&b D12 amplifier's, the new sound system adds sonic beauty to the lavish interior. System control is provided by a trio of BSS London Soundweb processors with a Peavey Pagematrix system installed for complete facility communications. Products from Midas and Meyer round out this fantastic renovation.
SAVI provided a full sound system installation including project management, system engineering, shop drawings, custom fabrication, installation and commissioning.
